At the time I originally wanted to start riding, I got halfway up Jewett Street and discovered my bicycle tire was going flat! I had to return home (on foot, of course), replace the tube and start a day later - thus looking at the map, you'll notice that slight "jag" down Jewett Street. I also decided to to go down Elm Street a couple of weeks later to do the walk tour from a book written about 40 years ago.

Once I headed down Central Street, I made the left onto Father Salemi Dr., followed around and made the left on Main Street (heading south). The next several shots are the view along Division Street - specifically from the bridge.

The Naugatuck River is quite a beautiful thing to see. I recalled the images of what it looked like before the Flood of August, 1955. It took the Army Corp of enginneers millions of dollars and several years to build up the sides as is now seen - quite a feat, in itself!

After a lot of pictures, I moved on making the right onto Pershing Drive stopping for a quick breakfast. From there, I continued north on Pershing, taking in the view of Bridge Street. (The Bridge Street bridge)
